Hoofin' It for HART

Don't forget about the 13th annual "Hoofin It for HART" companion walk on Saturday May 17, 2007 at the Nisswa Community Center.
 
Registration will begin at 8:30 with Radar Run and Dog Olympics from 9:00 -10:00.

Categories for the Doggie Olympics include: Best Trick, "Ring around the Rosie", Egg & Spoon game, and Marathon Down. This should be a great event for you and your dog....  Olympic medals will be awarded.
 
Pizza, pop and water will be sold as well as walk, and HART shirts. Vendors will also be there with animal related information and supplies so don't forget your $$$$.
 
Prizes will be awarded to the top money raisers in the following categories:  Adult, Youth, and Team. 
 
Join the bandanna group:  All dogs adopted from HART will receive a complimentary yellow bandanna, and dogs adopted from another shelter or rescue will get a green bandanna.  This is a small thank you token to everyone who has adopted.

HART needs Walk Sponsors!

Each year HART invites businesses and individuals to be sponsors of their largest fundraiser, the “Hoofin' It for HART” companion walk. 

In the past HART has sent out Corporate Sponsor letters to fellow business folks and supporting individuals, but this year we would like to do something different and open up this opportunity to the community.

Sponsor levels are: 

  • Platinum: $1,000.00  

  • Gold: $500.00  

  • Silver: $250.00

  • Bronze: $125.00

Watch for the Bandanas!

Ever dog adopted from HART will receive a yellow bandana that says "I'm from HART"

Every dog adopted from a shelter or rescue group will get a green bandana that says "I'm a Rescue Too"

Sponsor a HART Animal!

HART will also be selling "Sponsorships" at the walk. Donate $50.00 to "Sponsor" a HART animal. This will get them spayed or neutered, which in turn greatly improves their chance of adoption.
