Donate to H.A.R.T.

We depend on your generous support to help the animals. There are many ways you can contribute. The list below contains items that we need to provide the best care for the animals waiting for their forever home. Items can be dropped off at the shelter.

  • Bleach
  • Spic-n-Span
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
  • Kleenex
  • First aid kit, supplies
  • Flatbed cart
  • Extra large size Kong  toys
  • Peanut butter for filling Kongs
  • Spray bottles
  • Gift cards to Cub or Super One( to get fresh veggies for small animals)
  • Notebooks for phone logs
  • Pet hair pick-up adhesive rollers
  • Gift cards to office supply store (e.g. Office Max, Office Depot)


  • Small hand vacuum
  • Scratching posts
  • Hand & bath size towels
  • Gift cards to gas stations
  • Gift cards to Home Depot or Menards
  • Large plastic storage containers with lids (e.g. Rubbermaid)
  • Electric grooming clippers (Oster ClipMaster or GroomMaster if possible)
  • Professional grooming shears
  • Office supplies (pens, copy paper, paperclips, staples, Post-Its, etc.)
  • Large size pedestal fan

  • In memoriam– When a loved one dies, family and friends can continue the work of a life well lived by donating to H.A.R.T. in memory of the deceased. Simply include that information in the obituary notice.
